Maintenance Technician 

Butler, PA

$20-21 / hour

Arbors Management currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician located in Butler, PA.  This is a semi-skilled position for a person with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and custodial experience.  If you enjoy working with your hands and doing something different every day, we encourage you to apply.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week.  Some overtime will be required as well as on-call hours for emergency repairs.  On-call time is split with another Maintenance employee.  Pay is based on experience. Skills needed to be successful as the Maintenance Technician include:

• Basic plumbing skills (Toilets, drains, hot water tanks, etc.)
• Basic electrical skills (switches, fixtures, outlets)
• Interior and exterior painting experience
• Drywall hanging and repair experience
• Ability to handle custodial duties, trash and groundskeeping
• Can-do attitude with strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of building maintenance experience (or equivalent schooling)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, crawl and otherwise move about
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance 
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screenings
• Good communication skills
