Building Maintenance Technician

$19.50+ per hour

Arbors Management currently has an opening for a Building Maintenance Technician located in Fairmont, WV.  This is a skilled position for a person with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and custodial experience.  If you enjoy working with your hands and doing something different every day, we encourage you to apply.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week.  Some overtime will be required as well as on-call hours for emergency repairs.  On-call time is split with another maintenance employee.  Pay is based on experience. Skills needed to be successful as the Building Maintenance Technician include:

• Basic plumbing skills (Toilets, drains, hot water tanks)
• Basic electrical skills (switches, fixtures, outlets)
• Interior and exterior painting experience
• Drywall hanging and repair experience
• Ability to handle custodial duties, trash and groundskeeping
• Can-do attitude with strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, crawl and otherwise move about
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance 
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screenings
• Good communication skills
• A GREAT Attitude
