Building Resource Teacher

Little Huskies Child Development Center is now accepting application for a Building Resource Teacher!

Resource Teacher Purpose/Goal

To cooperate in providing a warm and nurturing, quality early childhood environment in which each child can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially. 

Resource Teacher Requirements 

Completed degree not required. 

Training and scholarship opportunities provided. 

Experience working in a group care setting

Immunization requirements: MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Varicella, Annual influenza and Covid (current booster required) 

Resource Teacher Responsibilities 

Teachers work on a team to support children and families through:

Learning Environment Daily routine, small group, large group, transitions, clean up, snacks and meals, and outside time Curriculum Planning and Assessment Family Partnerships and Community Relationships 

Expected hours: 31.25 hour per week (11-5:30, Monday through Friday). Pay rate based on educational background - $16.72-$20.10/hour.

• A Bachelors or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Personnel File is up to date
• CPR/First Aid
• Current TB Test
• Current Physical
• Adheres to attendance policies as outlined in the staff handbook.
