Building Services Associate

Join our dedicated team as a Building Services Associate at Heritage Auctions, where you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for Heritage Auctions employees and clients. Headquartered in Dallas, TX, with offices in New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, London, Hong Kong, and beyond, Heritage Auctions is the largest auction house founded in the U.S. and serves over 50 different auction categories, including Coins, Sports, Comics, Historical, Jewelry, Fine & Decorative Art, Wine, and more.

SUMMARY: The associate will primarily be responsible for general building repair, maintenance, and preparation of in-transit valuable items. They will also assist the Building Operations team as needed. 

LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Moves necessary materials around job sites as assigned
• Cleans up worksite debris
• Provide general maintenance and building repairs
• Provide general support for Building Operations
• This position reports to the Building Operations/Maintenance Supervisor
• Other duties may be assigned

 SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

• Must be able to perform basic maintenance tasks required
• Work quickly and without direct supervision
• Great attention to detail
• Fork-lift experience a plus
• Box truck or step-van experience is a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:  Valid Driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly daily
• Must be able to travel up to 20% occasionally for remote warehouse maintenance and transportation tasks
• Available to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
