Bury Drop Manager

DCOMM is seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to oversee special projects, including bury drops and essential service work. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead special projects focused on bury drops and service work, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

• Supervise field teams, providing guidance, support, and hands-on leadership in the execution of projects.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery.

• Ensure all work meets DCOMM’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

• Allocate resources efficiently to maintain project timelines and manage costs effectively.

• Ensure all safety regulations and protocols are adhered to in the field, minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment.

• Track project progress, manage budgets, and report updates to senior management regularly.

• Proven experience in managing field service operations, with a focus on bury drops, special projects, or service work in the telecommunications or utilities industries.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams in the field.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements in field operations.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the field, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL

• Primary Work Location: This role is primarily based in the field at drop bury sites within the assigned region.
• Travel Requirements: Travel is primarily local day travel between job sites. While it is rare, the individual must be willing and available to travel to other regions to assist with project launches or provide additional support as needed.
• Driver Expectations: A valid driver’s license is required for this role. The individual must maintain an acceptable driving record and adhere to safe driving practices when using company-provided or personal vehicles for business purposes.
