Requirements

Skills and Knowledge:

• Operates passenger carrying commercial motor vehicles of 30 feet in length.
• Knows New Orleans local geography, directions, and traffic laws.
• Enjoys engaging visitors, answering questions, and offering travel advice.
• Demonstrates patience, tolerance, and sensitivity to guests and colleagues.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills to handle customers in a friendly and helpful manner.

Duties:

• Operating tour buses in a safe, calm, and respectful manner - obeying all traffic laws in normal and in difficult driving conditions.
• Following a pre-planned route in accordance with the detailed time schedules.
• Working closely with Tour Host to deliver a smooth-paced tour, in-sync with the tour narrative
• Greeting visitors in an energetic, enthusiastic and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Must possess and carry a CDL, Class B, with Passenger Endorsement.
• Must obtain a CPNC permit issued by the City of New Orleans.
• Must have 2-3 years of experience operating passenger vehicles, 30 feet in length or greater.
• High School education or higher.
