Short Description:

Client is seeking a Business Analyst contractor for an approximately 24 month engagement for a Database project.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for converting the business requirements in to functional requirements and working with the architects in the design phase of this project. This individual will be knowledgeable in all aspects of business analysis and functional requirements documentation and has a basic understanding of project management and system development life cycle as well as porting efforts from legacy applications to new solutions. The individual must have proven experience with enterprise level development projects. The Business Analyst will work closely with Project Manager in assisting with solution documentation to meet all the IT requirements.

Role responsibilities:

• Analyze, define, and document functional requirements from business requirements

• Document the projects and project deliverables as assigned

• Work with the PMO Manager, Project Manager, Business Customer and project team

• Develop and document test plans, scenarios and scripts

• Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other programs and projects

• Consult with users to prototype, refine, test, and debug solution to meet Change Management needs

• Provide quality control for project deliverables
