Our client from the manufacturing and FMCG industry is seeking a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to support sales leadership in driving sustainable growth, market expansion, and strategic transformation initiatives across multiple markets. The role focuses on market intelligence, strategic planning, business performance analytics, and identifying growth opportunities to strengthen the companyâs competitive position.
Responsibilities
Support the development of regional strategic plans and long-term growth initiatives.
Identify opportunities for market expansion, portfolio optimization, and new product entry.
Conduct scenario analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Monitor branch-level and category-wise sales trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
Conduct benchmarking against key competitors and emerging market players.
Provide insights influencing pricing strategies, portfolio decisions, and market prioritization.
Analyze business performance across markets, sales channels, and product categories.
Develop performance dashboards and KPI tracking systems for leadership teams.
Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective action plans.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to improve distribution efficiency, pricing models, and promotional effectiveness.
Assist in evaluating commercial ROI and investment prioritization.
Partner with leadership teams to align regional strategies with local market execution.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across markets.
Support cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
Prepare strategic reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Translate complex datasets into clear insights and actionable strategic recommendations.
Requirements
Bachelorâs degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Masterâs degree preferred).
6â8 years of experience in business analytics within FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industries.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
Advanced data analytics and commercial intelligence skills.
Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear strategic insights.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
