Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Application Development Business Analyst with a strong emphasis on performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) who is responsible for working closely with stakeholders and end-users to understand their needs and requirements, and translate them into functional specifications and test cases for low-code application development projects. This individual will be a key player in ensuring successful project delivery by creating and executing comprehensive UAT plans to validate low-code application functionality and business process workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of application development concepts and technologies, as well as experience in designing and executing UAT plans.

Should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders including business users, developers, and project managers. Additionally, you should have experience in documenting and analyzing business processes, conducting user training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure the successful adoption of low-code applications.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Ensures that automation test plans and scenarios fully exercise every aspect of the product;Produces and presents formal automation test plans; leads the automation testing effort for assigned projects;Documents and reports issues discovered during testing, and follows up for resolution;Works as part of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) Development Team, conducts and effectively participates in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives.Establish standard process and procedures for identification, documentation, and tracking of defects in Jira or other agile tools while maintaining the traceabilityEnsure that the services are operational before release for user testing or general availability;Provide the final sign-off of the release package and propose new testing technologies and test approaches in compliance with best practices, policies and procedures;Other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

3+ years of experienceBS or MS in Computer Science, EE or related field.Experience with a relational database system (e.g. Oracle, MS-SQL Server, MySQL)3+ years of relevant business analysis experience.3+ years of relevant QA experience.2+ years of load / performance testing, Unit test framework, automated test experience.2+ years of hands-on Agile experience.

Nice to Have:

Experience testing low-code Applications.Working knowledge of WebService API Integration (RESTful, etc.)Solid understanding of file structures (XML, ISON, flat file, etc.)General knowledge of communication protocols (FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.)
