Business Analyst - Healthcare

Analyzes business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and facilitating the implementation of technology solutions to support operational and strategic objectives within healthcare organizations.

Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, operational challenges, and strategic goals within healthcare organizations.
Analyzing and documenting current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Leading requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews to elicit and document business and functional requirements for technology solutions.
Developing business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making related to technology investments and process improvements.
Translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories for technology development and implementation.
Collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
Participating in the testing, validation, and user acceptance of technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and objectives.
Providing expertise in healthcare regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and alignment with healthcare business needs.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Currently live in the Tampa, Fl or Atlanta GA area
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in analytics or relevant position in the Healthcare or Medical Insurance industry or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is strongly preferred.
Ability to manipulate large sets of data strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills strongly preferred.
Reporting - Responsible for serving as an expert in data analysis, reporting and formulating recommendations and providing guidance to other data analysts.
