Business Analyst I

Job DescriptionParadigm is currently seeking a Business Analyst I to support our client's endpoint security software sales business in Houston, Texas. This person should be able to apply a basic level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business reporting, documentation, analytic, and process improvement issues. In this role you will determine requirements using structured techniques for documentation and analysis, and break down high-level information to abstract low-level information. The Business Analyst I will distinguish requests vs needs, classify and prioritize requirements, and handle requirements change management and traceability, among other tasks. Our ideal candidate will build relationships, work collaboratively, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. An interest in cyber and endpoint security is a plus. Type: 6 month contractLocation: Houston, TexasBenefits: Paradigm offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.As a Business Analyst I, you will:Act as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action, follow established guidelines, and interpret policies.Participate in the elicitation, documentation, analysis and validation of business processes, systems, and solution requirements.Research components of solutions to problems.
