Business Analyst I - Immediate Start

We're looking for a Business Analyst I to join our team! You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate tax processing and supporting our customers.

What you'll do:

• Assist with uploading tax exemption certificates into our Vertex tax software.
• Create tax credit memos for customers who were mistakenly charged tax.
• Communicate with customers to retrieve missing tax exemption certificates.
• Leverage your problem-solving skills to design solutions for assigned system projects.
• Become a master data navigator you'll be an expert at finding the information we need within different applications.
• Be the first point of contact for internal and external customers, gathering data to set them up in our system.
• Ensure we have everything we need to send clear and accurate customer correspondence.
• Compile information for impactful collection presentations.
• Provide top-notch customer service support.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards, adhering to the Robinson-Pattman Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Cannons of Business Credit Ethics, and our company's Ethics Policy.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a college degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred).
• Is a whiz with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Can communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and speaking.
• Provides exceptional customer service, making people feel heard and supported.
• Thrives in an independent work environment with minimal supervision.
• Stays organized and manages their time effectively.
