Business Analyst (Insurance)

Job Description

A large insurance company in the Cincinnati area is looking for a local Business Analyst to join a team in one of their business units. They will be involved in a large ongoing project of moving all of their policy claims and billing to a new system, and must come with good understanding of the insurance(billing) industry. Their responsibilities will include:

Formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of the applicable business solutions and requirements

Assisting with the implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient

Supporting existing business applications and functions to ensure work continuity

Building and managing relationships with business and IT stakeholders and users, and vendors

Since this is a fast paced environment, they must be ready to hit the ground running as well as handling multiple tasks and action items at once. The role is also highly collaborative so this individual must have excellent written and verbal communication.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of BA experience

insurance/billing knowledge

Experience with process workflow software applications, such as Rally, Jira, Miro and Visio

Excellent communication skills - able to take action/lead Specific P&C insurance experience null
