Review design documents and validate functionality for defect resolutions and new
enhancements based on approved designs.
• Monitor and report on the System Development Contractor’s performance during all testing
phases under the CFS Project contract.
• Manage vendor testing activities by reviewing test scripts, execution results, and batch logs to
ensure thorough and complete testing.
• Prepare and maintain test data, including interface data files, for executing test scripts.
• Develop and execute test scripts, including regression tests, to validate system functionality.
• Analyze and document test results; identify, reproduce, and report defects to the development
and test teams.
• Participate in functional design sessions, Incident Review Meetings as needed
• Perform data analysis and root cause analysis for defects and production issues.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Analyze production data, including errors, and deliver root cause analysis to the functional lead.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 5+ years’ experience preparing, documenting,
and executing test criteria, test cases, test
scripts, and test plans for IT systems projects
• 2+ years’ experience testing on Child Support
Enforcement System Development projects
• 2+ years of experience with Component
testing, Integration Testing, Security Testing,
Performance Testing, Regression Testing,
Acceptance Testing
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Experience with Microsoft
Team Foundation Server (TFS)
and Microsoft Test Manager
• Experience with Agile or
Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with Automated
Testing tools
• Experience with Selenium
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
• Ability to plan, organize, instruct, and review the work of the testing team
• Ability to use MS Office, SharePoint, and WebEx tools effectively
• Ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non -technical
staff, customers/stakeholders (State and Federal) and executives
