Business Analyst Technical Writer for Cyber Security - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Business Analyst Technical Writer for Cyber Security for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Banking clients in Columbus, OH .

Alternate locations: Auburn Hills, MI or Frisco, TX

Hybrid schedule 2x weekly onsite

Responsibilities :

• Investigate and solve problems of an exceptional nature by resolving operating problems/errors related to Corporate Actions and taking appropriate action to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure timely and appropriate escalation of issues to senior management according to established procedures and policies.
• Coordinate, recommend and implement new services/products including cost/benefit analysis, procedural documentation, acceptance testing and approval prior to implementation.
• Ensure documentation aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with training teams to integrate security documentation into training programs.
• Work closely with IT security professionals and subject matter experts to gather information and insights for accurate documentation.
• Conduct interviews and research to ensure comprehensive coverage of security topics.
• Update documentation to reflect changes in security landscape and technology.

Required Skills :

• 5-6 years of experience in Business Analysis in Banking, Finance or Cyber Security
• Strong understanding of IT security concepts, technologies, and best practices.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation and workflow diagramming.
• Attention to detail and ability to translate complex technical information into clear and accessible documentation.
• Excellent ability to present to senior management.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience as a technical writer, preferably in the field of information security.
