Business analyst/Data analyst (100% remote)

Finance Missions:Define standards and methods for measuring affiliate performance.Perform accounting consolidation in IFRS format.Analyze overall performance of the client.

Transformation Context:SAP BFC (Magnitude) has been used for accounting consolidation and other functions, becoming the data foundation for Finance. However, its performance and data model flexibility issues necessitate a review of the data strategy. The client aims to replace SAP BFC and build a new data platform, with Phase 1 (Feb-May 2023) defining data needs, target architecture, and a macro roadmap.

Phases:Phase 1 (Feb-May 2023):

Defined data needs, target architecture, and roadmap.Phase 2 (April 2024):

Consolidated AUM data from affiliates into the new platform model.Phase 3 (May-Oct 2024):

Refines AUM data granularity from affiliates and standardizes data import processes.

Mission:Support Phase 3 and subsequent phases as a business analyst, addressing Finance and IT business issues. Collaborate with:The client's IT teams in Boston for AWS cloud development.The client's Finance teams in Boston and Paris.Financial departments of the client's affiliates.Project director in Boston (consultant).BA team in Paris (2 people).

Skills Required:Project management and business analysis: user relations, specifications, testing, and delivery acceptance.Expertise in asset management.Knowledge of corporate finance activities.Reporting with PowerBI.

Languages:

English ( Fluent) , French (for some affiliate collaboration).
