Position Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for fostering client relationships and expanding business accounts. Their primary goal is to identify growth opportunities, negotiate deals, and ensure long-term partnerships to drive revenue and achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the facility maintenance industry.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives.
Client Acquisition:
Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their facility maintenance needs.
Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to secure new business.
Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client retention.
Sales Pipeline Management:
Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
Utilize CRM tools to track and report on sales activities, pipelines, and outcomes.
Industry Networking:
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and stay abreast of industry trends.
Represent the company in a professional manner, enhancing its visibility and reputation.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years in business-to-business sales, with a proven track record of successful sales experience.
3+ years in commercial maintenance, facility maintenance, electrical, or plumbing
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
