Job Description - Business Development

Business Development Manager

Our client, a leading national restoration brand, is seeking Commercial Business Development Managers in San Francisco and Los Angeles. This is a high-impact role for candidates with an established book of business who can drive immediate revenue growth. A Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating lasting client relationships, and helping to expand our footprint in the disaster restoration industry. This role is ideal for a motivated, driven, and proactive professional with a background in sales, restoration, or property services, eager to contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing relationships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to create and utilize sales and marketing tools geared at commercial facilities; hospitality, healthcare, educational facilities, multifamily, industrial buildings, and warehouse.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with key contacts such as Maintenance Managers, Procurement Specialists, Building Engineers, and Property Management Professionals—those who frequently deal with water losses, sewer backups, and fire damage.
  • Execute a strategic sales approach to expand market presence and client base.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven business development or sales experience in a related industry (restoration experience is not required but preferred).
  • A strong book of business within commercial property management, facilities maintenance, or a similar field.
  • Ability to drive immediate revenue growth through existing relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle in commercial services.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the insurance, property management, and construction industries.
  • Conduct outreach through networking, cold calling, site visits, and attending industry events.
  • Educate potential clients on our disaster restoration services.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in a CRM system.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless project execution.
