Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy sales professional to build market intelligence sales within targeted accounts and territories. This role focuses on serving the business needs of large government contractors, primarily in the form of systems integrators, IT business and services providers, and other organizations marketing to the U.S. Federal Government. 

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Close new business
  • Develop and execute against enterprise account plans
  • Coordinate resources across the organization to meet strategic objectives
  • Present to and align stakeholders across target accounts
  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce
  • Evangelize Govini in the market
  • Focus on delivering value to customers and earning their long-term business
  • Take ownership of your work and always strive for improvement

Qualifications

You have a passion for great work and nothing less than your best will do. You share our intolerance of mediocrity. You’re uber-smart, challenged by figuring things out and producing simple solutions to complex problems. Knowing there are always multiple answers to a problem, you know how to engage in a constructive dialog to find the best path forward. You’re scrappy. We like scrappy.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience including closing
  • Ability to demonstrate that you have met and/or exceeded sales targets at current job
  • Ability to understand complex business environments and uncover customer issues addressable through impactful business & market intelligence. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while still providing quality opportunities and driving revenue
  • Skilled at quickly developing relationships with prospects, customers, partners and co-workers
  • Comfortable having detailed conversations at a business and technical level that drive to a positive next step
  • Prior experience with CRM solutions such as Salesforce.com or others is highly desired
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
