Job Description - Business Development and Account Manager

Are you an organized people-person who gets things done? Do you understand the challenges faced by business leaders and owners? Are you someone who understands how technology helps businesses succeed?

Total Networks is looking for a Business Development and Account Manager that understands that selling is an opportunity to solve problems and serve others while earning income for themselves. You will work in person in our Phoenix office and must have transportation to drive to prospect and client appointments.

Your main role is to identify and close new managed IT Services clients who align with Total Networks' needs. Our clients are professional businesses who value technology in the legal, healthcare, manufacturing, finance and business services verticals.

Additionally you will manage relationships with existing clients and ensure that they have the technology that will best serve their business. This will involve proposing solutions and overcoming client objections to win sales opportunities and keep clients happy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support new client acquisition efforts, including networking and business development.

Prepare and deliver proposals to prospects and clients in accordance with Total Networks standards. Your proposals must be clear, compelling, and appropriately manage expectations.

Work with clients to develop a deep understanding of their needs and collaborate with the sales engineering team to translate those needs into solutions

Manage the Business Technology Review process to:

Effectively plan and budget IT spend to maximize client productivity and eliminate surprises

Collaborate with the Total Networks technical team to facilitate upgrades that will avoid or resolve root cause issues

Keep clients in compliance with software licensing agreements

Ensure clients understand and adopt security best practices.

Educate clients about new technology options

Maintain strong business relationships with key client stakeholders

Communicate the value provided by Total Networks

Investigate and promptly respond to any negative service ticket reviews, or other complaints from assigned clients

Attend education events or webinars to keep of abreast of industry trends

Be relentless to ensure your clients are raving fans of Total Networks

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree preferred

3-years or more business to business sales experience preferred

Ability to travel to client and prospect sites within the metropolitan Phoenix area

Compensation:

Salary plus commission
