Business Development & Donor Relations Assistant (Entry-Level)

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Assist with prospecting and outreach to local nonprofits and mission-aligned organizations

• Prepare compelling pitch decks, proposals, and presentations tailored to nonprofit clients

• Support donor campaigns through emails, follow-up calls, and event logistics

• Maintain and update CRM systems with client and donor interactions

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage timely onboarding and deliverables

• Research trends in local nonprofit fundraising, grants, and community giving

• Help plan and coordinate donor appreciation events, mixers, and campaign activations

✅ About You

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a relationship-first approach

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through

• Passionate about nonprofit development, donor engagement, and social impact

• Comfortable engaging across diverse audiences—from community supporters to nonprofit leaders

• Experience in customer service, fundraising, donor relations, or administrative support is a plus

• Bilingual in Spanish, Polish, Somali, or other Columbus community languages is highly preferred
