Business Development and Marketing Representative

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

The ideal candidate will perform a variety of basic and essential duties. The role may involve both general and specialized tasks, offering a dynamic work environment.

Primary focus is on developing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective employer partners in the entertainment industry to increase membership and deepen existing relationships with the credit union. Represent the credit union at off-site events by promoting the benefits of the credit union. Speak and present information about the credit union and financial management at industry events.

ESSENTIAL:

• Act as a first point of contact for new businesses or unions interested in joining the credit union.
• Represent the credit union at events to leverage opportunities for increased membership and market share.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, display tact and diplomacy, establish trust with employer groups, members, and co-workers.
• Explain credit union products and services to existing and prospective credit union members. Open new membership accounts and services.
• Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with the groups we serve.
• Develop a call and visit schedule contacting new and existing members and employer partners to maintain relationships.
• Provide support to the marketing department by assisting in marketing campaign design and execution.
• Identify and coordinate partnering and philanthropic opportunities in the credit union’s markets.
• Maintain current, thorough knowledge of the credit union’s products and services.
• Develop and implement a business development plan.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners.
• Provide regular reporting on activities and results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
• Manage online presence and social media channels is required.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree with a focus in business administration or marketing from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Existing credit union experience is highly preferred. Experience managing online and social media channels is required.

PAY GRADE INFO:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The base range for this position is: $38.00 to $43.00 hourly.
