Business Development and Marketing Specialist

Gilbert's Family of Companies is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Specialist.  As a Team member you will respond to customer inquiries and turn outreach into appointments and business opportunities.  You will manage assigned internet leads, coordinate and follow up on eLead campaigns and support marketing projects across the companies.  This role provides backup phone coverage for Chevrolet and Ford Customer Care Center when needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to assigned Internet leads by phone, text, and email.


• Learn what the customer needs, answer questions within the scope of the role, and arrange an appointment or a clear next step.


• Record contact attempts, conversations, appointments, and outcomes accurately in eLead or the applicable system.


• Follow up with customers who have not yet responded or completed their next step.


• Route opportunities to the appropriate company or team and confirm that hand-offs are completed.


• Work with the Marketing Manager and company leaders to identify customer groups, timely offers, and outreach opportunities.


• Build and send approved campaigns in eLead and other applicable platforms.


• Monitor replies, follow up with interested customers, and route opportunities to the appropriate team.


• Track responses, appointments, and resulting business when that information is available.


• Assist the Marketing Manager with promotion, events, customer communications, campaign calendars and other projects.

Qualifications

• Strong phone, writing, and customer service skills.


• Organized and able to manage follow-up across multiple businesses.


• Experience with a CRM; eLead and automotive experience preferred.


• Accurate record keeping and sound judgment when routing customer inquiries.


• Comfortable working with different managers, teams and customers.


• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
