This position will support the Vice President of Business Development.
Job Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid)
Salary Range: Salary is based on a candidate's specific criteria, years of experience, skillset, education, and training.
Education & Experience: BS/BA degree required. 2-5 years of related experience.
Description of Required Experience/Skills:
Superior organizational skills. Maintain daily/weekly task lists and event calendars for sales, marketing and business development functions.
Assist in scheduling, logistics planning, organizing, and day-of-tasks for events, department business meetings, and tradeshows.
Performs administrative tasks including drafting emails, memos, purchase requests, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, with flexibility to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to resolve issues with minimal direction or guidance, as well as work both independently and as a team member.
Strong computer skills with respect to Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Zoom.
U.S. Citizen.
Description of Desired Experience/Skills:
Background in marketing and/or business with experience developing marketing campaigns to include email marketing, direct mailing, tradeshow alignment and other customer contact methods.
Working knowledge of the US Military and DoD agencies with a general understanding of rank structures, organizational alignment, and training methods and techniques.
Working knowledge of the Government Request for Proposal (RFP) process, business capture, and proposal submission processes. (e.g. the Shipley Method)
