Job Description - Business Development Center Agent

May 2022 we added Coos Bay Toyota to our group. Coos Bay Toyota was owned and operated by Guy and Lee Hawthorne for the past 40 years. The brothers decided to retire and trust Teton Auto Group with their incredible team. Coos Bay Toyota employs around 60 people. They have a few things unique to them that we are excited to be a part of, the amazing Smiling Dog Café where they serve up amazing coffee, treats and are extremely dog friendly. They even have a dog park behind the dealership! They also have a used car sector called 101 Auto Sales to help with all your used car needs. Teton Auto Group is excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Coos Bay community as we show them what a best in industry, easy to buy and easy to do service experience looks like.


Are you passionate about the automotive industry and skilled in customer communication? We are currently seeking a motivated and customer focused Automotive BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our team. As a BDC Sales Representative, you'll be essential in engaging with our customers and providing exceptional support to ensure their satisfaction. This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service! This is an in-person, non-remote position.


Responsibilities - Included but not limited to :



  • Answer incoming phone calls for multiple departments

  • Make outbound phone calls

  • Actively engage with customers to assess their needs, answer questions, and provide accurate information

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales appointments, and follow-up activities in the CRM system

  • Stay informed about product updates, sales promotions, and company policies to effectively communicate with customers

  • Manage spreadsheets and log information on multiple screens / tabs

  • Schedule appointments and follow up on appointments

  • Communicate all missed opportunities or escalated calls to upper management

  • Work in a team environment to provide customers a top-level experience

  • Complete special projects as assigned


Requirements



  • Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent, College Degree Beneficial.

  • Experience Required: 1 to 2 years in an Office Setting

  • Enjoy talking on the phone and willingness to help customers

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers.

  • Team player attitude

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Sees opportunities, not problems. Strives to continuously learn and improve

  • Preferably Bi-Lingual

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Basic computer skills and phone etiquette

  • Customer service oriented

  • Excellent follow through skills.
