Job Description - Business Development Coordinator
Position summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Coordinator to support our dealership’s sales growth and client engagement strategies. This role is essential to generating leads, maintaining customer relationships, and improving the overall customer experience. You will play a key role in managing inbound and outbound communications, supporting sales staff, and developing outreach campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Respond to online and phone inquiries from prospective customers promptly and professionally
Schedule and confirm sales and service appointments
Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer information
Assist in managing internet leads, follow-ups, and appointment reminders
Support the sales team with client outreach and promotional campaigns
Track key performance metrics such as appointment show rates and conversions
Collaborate with the marketing team to support digital campaigns and events
Maintain knowledge of inventory, promotions, and dealership services
Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions
Attend sales meetings and training sessions as needed
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or business development (preferably in an automotive, equipment, or powersports dealership)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., VinSolutions, Elead, e-Emphasys)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Self-motivated and team-oriented with a proactive attitude
Ability to learn new web platforms and photography process’
