My client is a leading provider of corporate dining and catering services. They are seeking a Director of Business Development based in Texas. This role involves spearheading strategic growth initiatives and nurturing client relationships within their dynamic market.
Responsibilities:

Develop and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share in the region
Identify and prospecting new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and relationship-building activities
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals, presentations, and solutions that meet client needs and objectives
Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations to drive new business acquisition and client retention
Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly

Key Requirements:

Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the hospitality industry
Strong understanding of market dynamics, including key industries, competitors, and client segments
Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive business expansion
