Job Description - Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive will serve as a senior leader responsible for driving AGE Solutions' growth strategy, cultivating strategic partnerships, and leading pursuit and capture efforts across the federal landscape. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role will focus on expanding AGE's presence across defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies, aligning new business pursuits with the company's mission and long-term strategy.


The ideal candidate is an experienced business development executive with a record of success in federal contracting, particularly within the DoD or adjacent markets. They bring deep market insight, exceptional relationship management skills and a disciplined approach to capture, proposal development and strategic positioning.


Responsibilities Include:



  • Partner with Chief Growth Officer to shape and execute AGE's growth strategy, including identification, qualification, and pursuit of new opportunities.

  • Lead and manage capture efforts from opportunity identification, qualification, and pursuit of new opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with customers, partners, and industry leaders to strengthen AGE's market positioning.

  • Support teaming strategy, negotiations, and partnership agreements to optimize competitiveness.

  • Work closely with operations, recruiting, and proposal team to translate pipeline opportunities into successful contract awards.

  • Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and growth metrics to inform executive decision-marking.

  • Represent AGE at conferences, partner meetings, and industry engagements to advance brand visibility.

  • Mentor and develop other team members supporting business development and capture operations.


Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:



  • 12+ years of progressive experience in business development, capture management, or strategic partnerships within federal contracting.

  • Proven track record leading or contributing to successful federal contract wins, preferably in defense or IT mission support environments.

  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle, IDIQs/GWACs, and proposal processes.

  • Established relationships within DoD, DISA, or related agencies strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across dispersed teams and influence at the executive level.

  • Bachelor's degree required
