We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team and help drive our next chapter of growth in transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment services. This position will rapidly scale our customer base and business volume in this strategically important segment of our business. They will lead us in developing and executing new business with existing and new customers leveraging our growing portfolio of facilities and deep 3PL experience.

Performance will be evaluated based on meeting the requirements of the job description, including, but not limited to the following:
Meeting performance metrics and other quality indicators established for this position
Working according to specifications, policies, and standards established by Langham Logistics
Working effectively in a team environment
Providing a high level of internal and external customer service.
Performance metrics
Performance metrics for this position will be established annually based on company revenue, EBIDTA, business unit goals, and individual goals.
Key outcomes expected
Primarily focus on developing business for Transportation and Warehousing operations. Develop new customer revenue streams and grow existing customer engagement in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment. Monitor industry news and developments to stay up-to-date on potential opportunities Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
Critical skills, knowledge, and behaviors
Superior business development experience with demonstrated success in engaging Senior supply chain decision makers In depth knowledge of transportation and warehouse operations and market trends. Demonstrated success in closing over $3 Million in annual sales to support a growing organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present well in front of a group Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
Experience, education, degrees, licenses
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing or related field A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive, senior level experience in Business Development
Physical demands
Must be able to work in an office environment, and travel to support sales strategy.
