Position Overview:
The Business Development Executive - K12 Sales is responsible for driving sales growth in the K12 (K-12) market segment. This position will focus on sales of classroom supplies, furniture, and learning environments to K12 educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining relationships with K12 education institutions, including schools, districts, and universities.
Creating and executing sales strategies to increase product sales.
Identifying new opportunities in the K12 market segment, and developing strategies for new product and service offerings.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing campaigns.
Developing and monitoring budgets to ensure sales goals are achieved.
Analyzing sales trends and making recommendations for improvement.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of K12 marketplace.
Attending industry trade shows and conferences to stay abreast of trends and developments in the K12 sector.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or marketing, preferably in the K12 environment.
Strong knowledge of K12 trends and the K12 marketplace.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
