Job Description - Business Development Lead
Our client is looking for an experienced driven Business Development Executive to join our awesome Insurance Sales Team. You will be instrumental in acquiring, building and nurturing relationships with the key players in the insurance industry. You will develop and implement plans to achieve ambitious sales goals, proactively generate leads and secure new clients.
Areas That Will Play to Your Strengths (all the responsibilities we’ll trust you with, no pressure ):
Client Relationship Management & Growth:
You will identify and cultivate prospects, build strong long-lasting client relationships, and drive new business. An existing Rolodex of direct demand partnerships in the
health insurance space
is a significant advantage.
Sales Strategy:
You will develop and execute growth strategies to achieve sales targets, including identifying and initiating new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead-generation tactics.
Market Analysis:
You will monitor and analyze industry trends to discover opportunities for market expansion, while utilizing creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative approaches to our
business development strategy .
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
You will collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic partnerships, refine our sales strategies and continue to coach team members on best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels and customers.
Pitching and Closing:
You will prepare and deliver presentations to clients and participate in contract and pricing agreements with clients.
What Will Put You Ahead:
First-Class Experience:
You have a minimum of five years of experience in business development,
sales in lead generation , preferably in the
Health and Medicare industries .
Business Development Pro:
You are not just about sales, you are about building relationships and identifying long-term opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Communication is Key:
Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills enable you to connect with clients, understand their needs and propose compelling solutions.
Motivated:
You are a
self-starter
and have an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a results-driven approach.
Your Toolkits:
You have a strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) principles and software, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Locations: Southern, CA or Denver-Metro Area
Base Salary Range: i.e., $120,000 to $160,000
Competitive bonus in addition to base salary compensation
Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt
