Help Pella Products of Kansas position themselves for further growth across all segments in the areas we service throughout the state of Kansas with emphasis in the greater Wichita area.
Responsibilities
Network with folks in the industry to include: architects, real estate agents, developers, designers, builders, remodelers or any other players who can be influential in this market.
Build relationships with key customers within the trade and commercial segments.
Works to gain a complete understanding of this industry, understand the challenges and opportunities customers have in this industry
Drives a culture across the area which builds momentum for the segments and overall business.
Works with architects to drive Pella specs in upcoming projects, both commercial and residential.
Become well-versed in the full Pella product line and be able to provide effective product demonstrations .
Utilization of the Wichita facility for customer tours and events.
Scheduled meetings with local Pella of Kansas sales reps with inquiries about what’s needed to help them move the needle in their market.
Messaging to contractor audience about PPKS value-add offerings:
New Construction Installation
Installation inspection services
Screens/Cranks/Covers service
PPKS pre-finish services
Outside sales support
Competitor analysis to include key players and the products they distribute.
Target customer review with outside sales reps paired with needs analysis.
Architect meetings and CEU course scheduling/execution.
Quarterly e-mail/mailing blast to targeted customers highlighting our VE message, new products, new innovations and promotions.
Contact with existing Pella customers to gauge customer satisfaction while asking for referrals.
Represent PPKS in company sponsored events, HBA activities and home shows.
Attend team meetings and conference calls.
Directly responsible for market growth including top line sales and overall market share.
Entertain potential and existing clients in an effort to learn more about their business and how to best partner with them.
Manages an established budget for sales growth and networking activities.
Works closely with the marketing budget and ensures utilization on a local level is impactful and relevant.
Maintains a professional appearance in the market to elevate the Pella name
Qualifications
5-7 years of related experience in the greater Wichita area
Ability to be professionally curious and the desire to “master your craft”
Self-motivated and customer focused
Effective and professional presentation skills in front of diverse audiences
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to mine and interpret data and the ability to utilize that data to develop strategy
Adds energy to the organization, supports and encourages all employees
Strategic planning, ability to communicate and implement plan across the organization.
Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience researching new markets and developing strategy to impact
