Job Description - Business Development Manager

🚨We're Hiring: Business Development Manager – Openwork Health


📍 Kansas City, KS | Full-Time | Sales & Growth



At Openwork, we believe in the power of people. As a Business Development Manager for our Openwork Health division, you’ll take the lead in launching and growing our healthcare staffing presence in eastern Kansas with plans to expand into surrounding states. This is the first role of its kind in Kansas, and it’s built for someone ready to hit the ground running.

💼What You’ll Do


This is not a desk job. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll spend 2–4 days each week out traveling in the Kansas market - meeting clients face-to-face, walking hospital/clinic floors, attending local events, and building strong community relationships. Here’s how you’ll make your mark:



  • Spearhead Openwork Health’s expansion into eastern Kansas and surrounding territories.

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities through in-person outreach, networking, and local presence.

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with healthcare providers and organizations by understanding their staffing needs and providing customized solutions.

  • Act as the local face of Openwork Health — your market is your business, and you’ll own it.

  • Partner closely with our recruiting team to ensure high-quality matches between talent and healthcare clients.

  • Travel throughout the region weekly, building brand presence and driving new business.
