Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target new business opportunities through research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to generate leads.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive business success.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement business development strategies and campaigns to increase sales, expand market share, and reach company growth targets.
Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships and collaborations with key industry players, influencers, and organizations to expand business opportunities.
Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients, addressing their needs and demonstrating how SkillersZone’s solutions can meet those needs.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations with clients, close deals, and secure new business while ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement for both the company and the client.
Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify new market opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development efforts with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Performance Tracking: Track business development activities, monitor sales performance, and report progress to senior management, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
Customer Retention & Upselling: Work with existing clients to identify opportunities for upselling additional services, fostering long-term relationships, and maximizing account growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role, preferably in a SaaS, B2B, or technology-driven environment.
Strong experience in lead generation, prospecting, sales negotiations, and closing deals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to potential clients.
Strong relationship-building and networking abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to meet business goals and revenue targets.
Analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and measure business development performance.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for driving growth.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
