Job Description - Business Development Manager

Verizon recently acquired Frontier and plans to transition non-union Frontier employees into Verizon compensation and benefits programs. This position will be part of that planned transition. \n\n \n\nBusiness Development Manager\n\nAs the largest pure-play fiber provider in the U.S., we deliver blazing-fast broadband connectivity that unlocks the potential of millions of consumers and businesses. Join us!\n\n \n\nWhat we\u0027re seeking:\n\nYou will be charged with securing contracts with Frontier\u0027s multifamily clients to expand the reach and penetration of our Fiberoptic Internet services. You will target property owners, operators, and developers to build and cultivate a pipeline of multifamily communities that range in size from individual several-hundred unit properties to large multi-site portfolios over 10,000 units in size. In this hybrid role, you will have a defined work location HUB which includes work from home and assigned days in the office set by your manager. The HUB for this role will be in either Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL.\n\n \n\nWhat we need in you:\n\nYou are a highly successful sales professional that thrives in a fast-paced B2B channel and enjoys leveraging your business acumen to exceed sales targets and drive aggressive growth. You\u0027re passionate about building lasting relationships and providing industry-leading solutions that delight customers. You\u0027re an independent worker that leverages various consultative sales methods and challenges clients to understand the true value of a service offering.\n\n \n\nWhat you\u0027ll do:\n\n * Develop new business via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face interactions to identify appropriate customers within the target markets\n * Manage the entire consultative sales process from lead identification to contract execution; build and update strategic account plans for high-value portfolio clients\n * Partner effectively with internal and external legal support staff to negotiate contractual terms\n * Participate in local/regional industry events and forums to present Frontier\u0027s services and solutions\n\n\n\n \n\nWhat we offer: \n\nNothing is more important to our success than the team that built it.
