Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Overview

Responsible for driving revenue growth across a multi-property luxury resort portfolio by developing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and managing strategic trade and corporate partnerships. Works closely with sales leadership, revenue management, marketing, and property teams to execute targeted sales initiatives, optimize distribution channels, and deliver measurable commercial results across defined markets and segments.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute business development and sales strategies aligned with commercial and revenue objectives across multiple properties

  • Drive revenue growth across leisure, corporate, group, wholesale, consortia, and travel advisor segments with accountability for assigned markets and targets

  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with key travel advisors, tour operators, DMCs, MICE planners, corporate clients, OTAs, and consortia partners

  • Identify and develop new feeder markets and strategic accounts to diversify demand and reduce reliance on single-source markets

  • Represent the portfolio at trade shows, industry events, sales calls, and client meetings

  • Collaborate with Revenue Management on contracting, pricing, demand generation, and channel optimization

  • Work with Marketing on trade promotions, campaigns, incentives, and brand-aligned communications

  • Drive cross-selling initiatives across the portfolio to maximize total revenue and long-term account value

  • Maintain accurate CRM data, account tracking, forecasts, and pipeline reporting

  • Provide regular market insights, competitor analysis, and performance updates to senior leadership


Qualifications and Requirements



  • Must be eligible to work in the USA.

  • Minimum 3+ years of hotel or resort sales experience, with multi-property or cluster exposure preferred

  • Background in luxury, leisure-focused, all-inclusive, or villa-style resort environments

  • Proven ability to generate new business, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth

  • Established network within leisure, luxury travel advisor, wholesale/FIT, and corporate travel segments

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills

  • Experience with CRM, CRS, GDS, and major hotel distribution platforms

  • Highly organized, results-driven, and commercially focused

  • Willingness to travel frequently to support market and business development activities
