Our client is a leading Construction Management firm based in Yonkers, NY, specializing in supervising new out-of-the-ground and interior renovation construction projects. With a focus on mid-rise, mixed-use residential, commercial, and corporate projects across New York City's five boroughs, our client has built a reputation for excellence and innovation in the construction industry.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry. This role is critical for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, fostering relationships, and securing new projects for our construction management services.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development :

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mid-rise, mixed-use residential, commercial, and corporate sectors within NYC's five boroughs.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the firm's market presence.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and project opportunities.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, and other industry professionals.
Act as the primary point of contact for new business inquiries and client engagement.
Attend industry events, networking functions, and meetings to promote the firm and cultivate new relationships.
Sales and Marketing: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and campaigns that support business development efforts.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Project Oversight: Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth handover and successful execution of secured projects.
Monitor project progress and client satisfaction, providing feedback to improve service delivery and client relationships.
Qualifications: Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction industry.
Strong network of contacts within the architecture, design, and development communities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
In-depth understanding of construction processes and project management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of the New York City construction market and regulatory environment is a plus.
