We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to unlock new business in the biopharma, medical device, and diagnostics industries. You will find new clients for our decentralized clinical trial solutions and handle the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing. You will work closely with Marketing to receive inbound leads from our presence in the industry, and also develop and implement strategies for sourcing new clients yourself. You will receive support from our Business Development Associates to run an outstanding sales process, and will remain engaged with clients after closing to help ensure success and also unlock opportunities to expand business. You will act as a decentralized trial expert, drive sales, and foster relationships with a high degree of ownership. What you’ll do
Owning the entire inside sales cycle from prospecting to close Generate your own pipeline through outline efforts online, over email, through your network, and at conferences Introduce Curebase to new leads generated through your own outbound and through Curebase marketing inbound channels Perform software demos tailored to the needs of clients Become an expert on decentralized clinical trials and win clients through understanding and trust Become a partner to our customer prospects and help them realize the potential of decentralized clinical trials and the value of Curebase’s software and services Collaborate with Proposals to create highly tailored software and service proposals for clients Answer tough questions thoughtfully about decentralized trials and Curebase products Building long-term business relationships with potential customers by talking to and educating them through the sales process Remain engaged with clients after closing and be their champion within the company Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and own the relationship for the long term Autonomously managing your workload and effectively reporting on progress when needed Engaging with the Product and Engineering team to relay customer feedback and inform the product roadmap About you
1-3 years experience in a commercial role selling into pharmaceuticals or medical devices, or alternatively working in the life science or medical device industries Experience selling software products, CRO services, or both Excited about decentralized clinical trials and ready to become an expert Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written Familiarity or experience with Hubspot or other CRM platform Eager to do both outbound and inbound sales strategies and source new business Long-term thinker ready to maintaining meaningful business relationships and nurture them Coachable yet independent, capable of learning new concepts and applying them in real-time Comfortable with, or are quick to learn and master, productivity and web presentation tools Passionate about connecting people with solutions that make their lives easier Benefits

The compensation for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 USD annually in addition to commission. This role is eligible for commission and equity. Compensation for this position may be subject to change depending on factors like candidates’ level of experience and geographic location. About Curebase
