Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to attract new clients and projects.
- Identify and pursue leads in both public and private sectors, including general contractors, architects, developers, and property owners.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong client relationships through networking, presentations, and consistent follow-up.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with estimating and project teams to prepare compelling proposals and bids.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and areas of opportunity.
- Track and report on business development metrics and KPIs.
- Contribute to marketing and branding efforts to increase visibility and credibility in the market.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the construction or real estate development industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Texas construction market and key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Builder Prime) Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools.
