Salary: $58,000 - $70,000

Revity Credit Union is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Business Development Manager.   

 

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving membership growth and enhancing community engagement. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with current Select Employee Groups (SEG) and for cultivating new SEGs while maintaining a successful transition from sales to partnership to ensure a welcoming image and experience of the Revity Credit Union brand and culture. 

 

The Business Development Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to expand the credit union's presence in the local market. 

 

Will provide direction for the organization and makes recommendations to management regarding business development strategies, products, and services. 

Responsibilities to include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to expand the credit union's presence in the local market.
  • Provide ongoing feedback  for the organization and make recommendations to management regarding business development strategies, products, and services.
  • Create and maintain  lists of current SEG contacts, potential new SEG groups, members, brokers, and others in the credit union's field of membership.
  • Regularly contact and visit prospective SEGs to present information on available services, such as deposit accounts, lines of credit, lending products, and other credit union services.
  • Attend various meetings in the community to develop new business prospects and promote the credit union.
  •  Maintain up to date tracking tool for contacts and status. 
  • Promote all products and services throughout the community.    

 

Skills:

  • 2-5 years similar or related experience 
  • Strong business development and sales skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals 
  • Project management experience is a plus 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred (marketing, communications, business, etc).  Will consider experience and education combination.
