Cardio Diagnostics is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter Business Development Manager (Healthcare) to prospect, build new relationships and expand existing relationships with providers and provider organizations (e.g., health systems, Accountable Care Organizations).

This individual will source new opportunities, identify contacts for outreach, secure meetings with key decision-makers, create necessary collaterals throughout the sales cycle and manage a robust pipeline of accounts. This role will work in tight collaboration with sales, marketing and customer success members of the Revenue team.

Responsibilities
o

Prospect and develop new clients to expand the introduction of Cardio Diagnostics’ solutions to provider and provider organizations and from time-to-time across other segments (e.g. employers, health plans).
o

Engage in outbound cold and warm lead generation efforts, across phone, email, social media, and direct mail.
o

Prepare compelling collaterals in collaboration with leadership to support the sales process throughout the sales cycle.
o

Maintain an extensive pipeline of qualified new client opportunities.
o

Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals as well as market penetration targets.
o

Co-develop sales strategies and tactics with leadership.
o

Establish personal connections with clinical, executive and other leaders to create new pipeline opportunities.
o

Define growth opportunities through industry, client, and competitor analysis.
o

Collaborate with Customer Success to assure high levels of client service and satisfaction.
o

Track and report relevant sales performance indicators, providing insights on pipeline progression and revenue growth.
o

Attend industry events and networking forums to increase brand recognition and generate leads.

Qualifications
o

BS/BA degree in business, analytical, technical or scientific field.
o

Minimum 4 years sales experience within diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or lab sales selling to providers and provider organizations.
o

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information into an “elevator pitch” to get someone’s attention and to persuade them to take action.
o

Experience with sales and prospecting tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
o

Comfortable communicating on the phone, email, via a social media platform, in a provider setting or at a conference.
o

Superior verbal and written communication skills.
o

Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions, resolve problems, and measure success.
o

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
o

Travel as necessary (~20%).

Requirements
o

Work in a team-based office environment.
o

A valid driver’s license with the ability to operate an automobile.

Preferred Qualifications
o

Experience selling to primary care providers and cardiologists.
o

Experience with enterprise sales.
o

Experience selling cardiovascular diagnostic products.
