As our new Business Development Manager OEM Water Utility, you'll be driving OEM business growth by developing and strengthening strategic relationships with key partners in the municipal water and wastewater space that expand Grundfos's market presence and preferred vendor status. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Municipal Water Utility Sales team, you'll create impact by winning new OEM accounts and establishing Grundfos as the go-to partner for municipal water and wastewater pumping solutions across the country.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key OEM decision makers, securing Grundfos specifications in national and regional master specifications


• Drive new business development with a target of 25 new OEM accounts in the first 12 months, becoming the recognized go-to resource for selected OEMs


• Collaborate with Grundfos sales teams, partners, and applications engineers to develop competitive scopes of supply and win municipal projects


• Provide training on Grundfos products, applications, and sales processes to all levels of the sales channel, both internally and externally


• Support regional sales teams through joint sales visits and participation in local and regional trade shows


• Monitor the business climate, applications, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a relationship-driven sales professional with deep expertise in the municipal water/wastewater market, strong technical knowledge of pumping systems, and a proven ability to win and grow OEM accounts. We'd also imagine that you are/have:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical discipline, or 10+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater or the pump industry


• Demonstrated experience with the municipal sales process and key account management strategies


• Significant existing contacts within the consulting engineering community


• Strong knowledge of pumps, pumping systems, and electronically controlled pump systems (VFDs, controllers) used in municipal applications


• Must travel 50%


• Ability to work remotely but must reside in the Atlanta, Orlando, or Charlotte Metro area

It's a plus if you also:

• Experience developing OEM partnerships or managing national/regional specification programs


• Ability to develop and deliver compelling product presentations to audiences of all sizes


• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The salary range for this position is $68,200.00 - $107,665.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.  The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
