Job Description - Business Development Manager/Director in Germany

Aion Bank is a fully regulated European bank and credit institution that combines Vodeno’s proprietary, private blockchain-based platform with its ECB banking license, balance sheet and regulatory and compliance expertise to offer a comprehensive suite of embedded banking products.

Aion Bank is currently active in Belgium, Germany, Poland and Sweden, including a  retail business in both Belgium and Poland.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager/Director in Germany ready to join our adventure and share our ambition. 

This is a truly unique opportunity for someone who has the ambition to play a crucial role growing business with clients across Europe.

  • Strategic planning: develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives. Identify and pursue new market opportunities  to drive revenue growth

  • Client acquisition: lead efforts in acquiring new clients. Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients

  • Revenue generation: meet and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and leading negotiations from start to finish

  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, finance and delivery, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies

  • Market analysis: stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities

  • 5+ years of proven track record of success in business development within the fintech sector is a must. In particular you need to bring experience from selling BaaS or lending solutions

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and industry regulations

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities

  • Ability to communicate fluently in German and English
