Atlanta Fork Lifts, Inc. supports warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain operations. JOB DESCRIPTION

 We are seeking a motivated Product Specialist to drive sales efforts across the Atlanta and Greater Atlanta market. This role focuses on representing a portfolio of innovative material handling equipment, including specialized solutions for in-between handling applications, cutting-edge lithium-powered forklifts, and emerging autonomous technologies. The Product Specialist will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding market share, and building long-term customer relationships across a diverse range of industries. 

Requirements

SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  

· Targeting top prospects new and existing; Identifying solutions, Negotiating, and Closing. Drive and manage the sales process from opportunity to close. 

· Act as a solutions expert consultant helping customers with their unique critical business needs and strategic initiatives.

· Work with Corporate Systems Manager to establish a clear and effective plan for growing market share.

· Work with Sales and After Market sales team to share ideas, knowledge, and new business development strategies. 

· Attend company training programs and ride-a-longs for training opportunities

· Industry knowledge to create market-based pricing for solutions.

· Performance will be measured on new customer growth, equipment sales revenue/profit, attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills.

· Work effectively and interact with multiple levels within our organization as well as our partnered OEMs

· Strong communication, organizational and time management skills  

· Self-starter with a competitive spirit

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong Closing Skills 

· Team player

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS  

· 12 Months experience in Material Handling Equipment or Industrial Sales preferred 

· Proven record of prospecting and cold calling to achieve new business acquisitions.

· Knowledge of Financial Leasing

· Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Must have reliable transportation supplemented with a car allowance  


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS  

Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred; or 5+ years of relative sales experience. 

Current unrestricted driver’s license

Clean driving record  

WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
