Job Overview:
The Business Development Representative identifies, conducts research, prospects, and creates new qualified opportunities that align with SurePoint’s value proposition. This role partners with account executives to develop strategic account plans, generates a strong pipeline of deal flow from outbound prospecting and serves as a key contributor in developing SurePoint’s outbound channels.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers within our market.
· Expand our pipeline of contacts and build relationships with our target audience through email, calls and social selling.
· Collaborate with the Account Executives in the assigned territory and successfully book meetings.
· Conduct initial conversations to assess the prospect's suitability for SurePoint Solutions.
· Provide feedback and competitive information to the GTM organization.
· Drive attendance to upcoming internal and external events.
· Follow up with local, regional, and national lead lists to ensure 100% coverage of the territory.
· Keep accurate records of all interactions and leads in SFDC.
· Enrich our current contact data through 3rd party data tools.
· Strive to meet and exceed quarterly targets and objectives.
· Bachelor's degree required.
· 1-2 years of experience in a business development, sales, or customer-facing role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
· Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
· Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
· A passion for learning and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
· Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
· Drive to perform the tasks at hand, while being motivated to advance your sales career.
