Ava Health is the only duly licensed, full behavioral health continuum on Colorado’s Western Slope. We have programs yet to launch, including residential treatment for substance use disorder, primary mental health residential care, sub-acute mental health stabilization and medical detox.
This role will be part of building the referral infrastructure that supports the opening of those programs in addition to our current continuum. You are not walking into something finished. You are walking into something being built.
The trajectory of this role is not a ceiling — it’s a ladder. We are building regional infrastructure across Western Colorado. We will expand significantly within Colorado and eventually out of state. And our long-term commitment is growth without ever taking outside investment. This role is the first of its kind at Ava.
Where you take this — whether that’s leading a regional sales team, owning an entire state, or running all of business development as the company grows — is entirely up to you.

This is a revenue-generating role. The metric that matters is length of stay driven by your referral relationships — not calls, not activities, not pipeline volume. The quality of your referral relationships that ensure the right people pick up the phone, enter the program, and successfully thrive through every applicable level of care.
We are not hiring someone to manage. We are hiring someone to move with agency and autonomy - with a full team and incredible support behind them.
