Job Description - Business Development Representative

Location: Central New Jersey (Field-Based).

A Behavioral health program serving adolescents is seeking a Business Development Representative for a PHP/IOP setting. This position is responsible for developing referral relationships and generating admissions through direct outreach across New Jersey.

Responsibilities include visiting doctor offices, hospitals, emergency departments, crisis centers, schools, and community organizations. This position will educate referral partners on services, programs, and admissions, track outreach activity and referral pipelines, and work closely with admissions to support intake and follow-up.

Requirements:

Experience in healthcare sales, outreach, admissions, or business development

Strong understanding of mental health and/or substance use treatment

Experience with adolescent programs preferred

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented

Ability to travel throughout New Jersey for in-person outreach

Compensation: $90k base salary, plus *uncapped* bonus structure.

Schedule: Full-time. Monday - Friday.

Benefits: Standard with mileage reimbursement / travel stipend for fieldwork.
