Job Description - Business Development Representative (B2B)


Job Summary:


As a Marketing/Business Development Representative in our Marketing Department, you will work to grow Buffalo Restoration’s leads and sales by attracting new customers and by increasing the spending of existing customers. Your main area of focus will be to generate new leads with the aim of creating long term exclusive agreements with Buffalo Restoration.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations:



  • Develop new unique and valuable offerings for target markets and maintain client relationships through job process which includes phone calls, brief visits and job close out process.

  • Business development involves scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentations to the prospects in a compelling manner after having researched their business and requirements

  • Document daily activities and contact/referral information in appropriate software

  • Participate in marketing related activities for PIVOT group

  • Attend community networking opportunities, such as Chamber of Commerce, Biz to Biz, SWMBIA, Bozeman Professional Women

  • Support overall marketing activities and events such as golf tournaments, barbeques, etc

  • Work closely with our team within the organization to assure tactical promises are consistently delivered

  • Attend weekly sales/marketing meetings


 


Competencies or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Must be able to manage a territory as well as strong prospecting skills

  • Business Developers need to be skilled at selling to customer’s needs

  • Effective presentation skills are a must

  • Business Developers need a strong track record of business-to-business sales

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence are key for a successful Business Developer

  • Excellent organizational skills are essential as well as performance monitoring will be a requirement

  • Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and our CRM database


 


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year (Plus Commissions as Applicable)

  • Bozeman, MT 59715: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)



Experience:



  • Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Events management: 2 years (Preferred)

  • B2B sales: 2 years (Preferred)

  • CRM software: 1 year (Preferred)



Work Location: In person
