Business Development Representative (Credit Union)
LHH is recruiting for a well-established Credit Union in San Francisco that’s looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join their team ASAP!
Responsibilities
Research and identify community and market opportunities to promote products and services to potential members.
Lead, participate, organize, drive and execute business and community development events and financial education courses.
Develop and maintain an events calendar, ensuring attendance and support is given where needed.
Improve current member relationships while re-visiting inactive business partnerships and memberships.
Conduct cold calls and prospecting to build a strong pipeline of membership applicants including business partners for product promotions and workplaces for membership opportunities with employees.
Develop and deliver financial education, training and literacy courses for employees, members and communities.
Attend networking, social and group meetings.
Effectively sell credit union membership and additional products and services, while obtaining referrals and generating leads.
Partner with branch managers and staff to create tactics that increase membership and relationships inside and outside of the branches.
Qualifications
Requires a minimum of two (2) years related experience in a financial institution.
Requires a thorough knowledge of credit union products and services.
Possess effective prospecting and closing skills with a strong knowledge of the market.
Complies with appropriate legal, regulatory, internal control and quality standard requirements of the Credit Union including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel within the San Francisco area and occasionally outside.
