Job Description - Business Development Sales Representative (Onsite Role)


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for selling high quality personal protective equipment to authorized distributors in a competitive market against established competitors. Must be willing to prospect and find new opportunities, service and grow existing customer accounts, and have strong closing skills. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated, team-oriented individual with a desire for high personal achievement and winning. We are looking for a competitive individual who can grow assigned accounts, take direction, be flexible, and who works well in a fast-paced environment. Previous sales experience, negotiating, closing, or account management is helpful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Make 60 outbound sales calls daily to generate new business from new and existing customers in assigned territory. 

· Developing and building relationships is a critical component of this role.

· Assist in managing the sales process of providing pricing, order tracking, and complaint resolution.

· This role will include heavy call and email volume. 


Requirements

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in a phone sales environment

· Microsoft Office proficient

· Excellent phone skills/ etiquette

· Assertive and experienced in conflict resolution

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with Prophet 21 is a plus

· Proficiency with maintaining up to date contact information in our CRM (HubSpot).

· Territory/account management skills

· Willingness to travel 2-3 times annually
